Bachelor's/Master's Programs Overview

Many departments within the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering offer a bachelor's/master's program. These programs offer current Johns Hopkins University undergraduate students the opportunity to begin work on a Master's Degree while completing the requirements for their Bachelor's Degrees. These accelerated programs provide valuable practical experience and preparation for further graduate study and research.

What are the advantages?

1. Shorter time to degree for a Master's program - most students in a bachelor's/master's program are able to finish both the bachelor's and the master's degree within five years.
2. In-depth research experience, specialized training and mentorship.
3. Improved job placement after graduation.
