Greg Hager, Professor, Computer Science
Hager’s research on computer vision and robotics is funded by the National Science Foundation and relies on collaboration with experts in the fields of general surgery, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, clinical oncology and interventional radiology.
Hager is the director of the Computational Interaction and Robotics Lab (CIRL) and the deputy director of the NSF Engineering Research Center for Computer-Integrated Surgical Systems and Technology (CISST), working across disciplines to ultimately discover the underlying structures in surgical motion.
